Here is the New power pole setup. This will provide the fencer power for the new pic pen, and it is just handy as hell to have power way out in the north forty. We also have water to that spot and I will be rigging up some watering solution for the big garden in the front pasture from this spot.
The Outdoor Kitchen is on the way! Spent a good part o flast Sunday clearing it out.

Great big piles...
That could either be really bad news...or in this case, awesome news. Brain came over with his tractor again and scooped up the sod and piled it up for composting. All I need is to cover it up maybe throw some worms in there and let it cook down. I have already thrown some organics on it.
Brian has a big tin of lasagny coming.

Nowhere Farms
Hey all-
This is our garden blog site. We will be updating this with everything that goes on and how we've done it. Below is the first plot down in the front pasture. We will be "feeding" this all fall and winter, as the soil is pretty sandy and depleted. We had Brian Yantis come over from next door and plow up the ground. The picture below shows all the sod and rocks.
This shows after clearing the sod and rock. The birm around the plot is going to be scooped up and piled, covered with black plastic to compost. Once again Brian will be helping with that.
Stay tuned for updates and future plans.
